PICS Graduation
Acting Governor, The Honorable Reed B. Oliver, attended the Pohnpei Island Central School (PICS) High School graduation which was held at the College of Micronesia (COM) Gym on June 6, 2019. Acting Governor delivered his remarks on behalf of the Governor, Marcelo K. Peterson by congratulating the two hundred fifty three (253) PICS High School graduating class of 2019.
Acting Governor concluded his message in expressing his appreciation to the department of education, the teachers, staffs and parents because it is this spirit of hard work and close cooperation and collaboration that led to this successful graduation.
PICS Freshmen Student Visit
February 28, 2019 , Pics underclassman (Freshman) students paid a visit to the Governor's office for a close-up observation of how the executive branch functions, and comprehend its role and responsibilities. The Honorable Reed B. Oliver, LT. Governor welcomed the students with a short speech of acknowledgement to pursuing what life goals.
Hand-Over Ceremony
On May 16,2018, Lt. Governor, The Honorable Reed Oliver joined the Hand-Over Ceremony at the Ice Plant located at the public markets in Kolonia. Lt. Governor delivered an appreciation remarks to the Rep. of OFCF for the kind donation OFCF did to OFA, Pohnpei State Government. He thanked the people of Japan for supporting Pohnpei State Government and for providing the equipments.
