DEKEHTIK, Pohnpei, FSM: August 7, 2024 — Governor Stevenson A. Joseph, First Lady Dr. Aina Garstang, Pohnpei Utilities Chief Executive Officer Nixon Anson, Public Affairs Officer Peteriko Hairens, government officials, and a group of enthusiastic school children have safely returned to Pohnpei following a momentous visit to the Southern Islands. This historic trip marked Governor Joseph and the First Lady’s first official state visit to the islands of Kapingamarangi, Nukuoro, and Sapwuafik.
The Governor’s Office extends its heartfelt gratitude to the National Government for their support in chartering the Lady Pohnpei. The successful journey of the Governor and his delegation would not have been possible without this critical assistance.
