Pohnpei—August 9, 2024—The Office of the Governor extends sincere thanks to Mr. Kohen Weirlangt of USAID’s Clean Cities, Blue Ocean (CCBO) program for providing a comprehensive update on the ongoing efforts to address the dump site at Dekehtik to Governor Stevenson A. Joseph.
The meeting with Mr. Weirlangt highlighted the continuous collaboration between the Pohnpei State Government and USAID/CCBO, focusing on sustainable solutions to improve waste management at the site. Governor Joseph expressed his appreciation for the steadfast support and commitment from USAID/CCBO in tackling this critical environmental issue.
