Palikir, Pohnpei—August 12, 2024: Governor Stevenson A. Joseph of Pohnpei warmly welcomed distinguished leaders from across the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) this morning at the opening of the 13th State and National Leadership Conference (SNLC). President Wesley W. Simina, Vice President Aren B. Palik, and state governors were among the many prominent figures in attendance.
In his remarks, Governor Joseph emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration as the leaders of the FSM come together to address the nation’s most pressing issues. He highlighted the significance of the conference as a platform for meaningful dialogue and the development of solutions that will strengthen the bonds between the national government and the individual states.
