Governor Stevenson A. Joseph Commends Enipein Native Mr. Katerson Moya for Exceptional Performance at World Aquatic Championships

Dekehtik, Pohnpei: February 21, 2024 – Governor Stevenson A. Joseph warmly welcomed Mr. Katerson Moya from Enipein, Kitti, who proudly represented the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) at the esteemed World Aquatic Championships held in Doha, Qatar. Mr. Moya showcased his exceptional talents alongside teammates Tasi Limtiaco, Kestra Kihleng, and Taeyanna Adams, collectively embodying the spirit of Micronesian athleticism on the international stage.

Governor Joseph extended heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Katerson Moya for his outstanding achievements at the World Aquatic Championships. The Governor commended Mr. Moya’s dedication, skill, and sportsmanship, highlighting the positive representation he brought to Pohnpei and the FSM.

Governor Joseph expressed pride in the accomplishments of the entire FSM Swim Team and encouraged Mr. Moya to continue his training and pursuit of excellence. Recognizing the significance of regional sports, Governor Joseph noted that the next Micronesian Games are scheduled for July of this year in Majuro, the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
