Kolonia, Pohnpei: February 12, 2024 – The Nature Conservancy (TNC) leadership, comprising Mr. Mike Sweeney, Mr. Noah Idechong, Mr. Koebel Sakuma, and Ms. Elizabeth Terk recently paid a courtesy visit to Governor Stevenson A. Joseph. The purpose of the visit, as stated by Mr. Sweeney, was to reintroduce the TNC team and emphasize their commitment to serving the local community. During the meeting, Governor Joseph highlighted his longstanding association with the Conservation Society of Pohnpei’s (CSP) Board of Directors, showcasing his dedication to environmental conservation. Discussions centered around conservation planning, strategic development plans, marine protected areas, and the integration of conservation efforts with food security.
